See how a one-year-old German Shepherd named Beck reacted when his parents first brought home a ginger kitten named Bleu.
Television programs have usually shown that cats and dogs are enemies. One will always be bullied by the other. This then leads to a disaster as the two run after each other – tables turned around, windows and plates breaking, which leads to getting the whole house in such a mess.
The good news is, that is only seen in the films we watch and in a few households. Fortunately, this isn’t always the scenario for some canines and cats living together. Believe it or not, there are those who end up becoming best friends.
Beck, the German Shepherd, didn’t quite know what to do when his family brought home a tiny kitten. They named him Bleu, yet no matter how lovable the kitten was, they felt that Beck didn’t feel the same. He did not like Bleu the minute they were both introduced to each other.
Beck isn’t the type to hurt a tiny animal. He just wasn’t pleased with the new addition to their family. Whenever his parents would cuddle with Bleu, Beck would just watch from a distance.
Thankfully, Bleu had his adorable ways of befriending the giant pooch. Also, with the guidance from their parents, things started to get better between the two. Beck soon realized that the kitten just wanted to be friends. After a few more days, Beck started to warm up.
The gentle giant soon allowed the kitten to play as much as it wanted. Beck would let Bleu jump on his back and his snout and would let the kitty sleep next to him. They would also play and run in the grass together. It was certainly the beginning of a wonderful friendship.
