All of us wanted to be tucked in bed when we were little, and like many others, either of our parents did it for us. This story’s a bit like that, with a slight, adorable twist to add to it.
This German Shepherd’s name is Baron, and these two are close. They both adore each other, so they pretty much keep doing stuff together. That’s something all of us need, and stat!
Not all of us grew up with pets, and those who did are fortunate to have experienced it. In this regard, little boy Alexander is every kid’s goal, if only to have Baron as a friend.
The duo sticks to a routine; get up, eat, play, nap, and have fun together. By the time dinner comes, the two are ready to hit the sack, and this is when their closeness becomes even more evident.
Baron and Alexander say their prayers together, and then the doggo tucks him in. If that’s not a result of good parenting and training, we don’t know what else it could be.
Alexander then picks a bedtime storybook and reads for both of them. Talk about strengthening bonds and making the littlest activity count! Parents, do take note.
It doesn’t end there, because then, these two indulge in some cuddling and tickling game. That’s a given when kids and dogs are in the picture; one starts something, the other follows.
We could imagine Alexander’s parents coming in to say goodnight with the bed all rumpled and skewed. Nothing like a little final call for bed won’t fix, and we can guess what happens next.
Both pet and little man say their farewells, and then it’s lights off. The huge doggo does the honors, standing on his hind paws to reach the switch, and it is done.
This family’s got their roles down pat, and we hope we could learn more about the kind of training that produces the same results!
