They say that the bond of friendship between two dogs is unlike any other. They may spend days, months, or even years apart, yet their friendship will never fade.
Is it because dogs are intelligent? Maybe so, but at the very end of the day, only our four-legged furry friends know why.
This bond of friendship between dogs is proven time and again by videos on the internet. Even after spending years apart, dogs still have the same gusto for each other when they finally meet again. And that bond of friendship is all the more evident in this featured video.
Chester and Troy are dogs who have different personalities. Chester, the yellow Labrador, is more competitive and spunky than his friend Troy. This contrast in personality is made even more apparent when they are playing together. Since Troy is not as competitive and energetic as his best friend, Chester, he always ends up on the losing side of any game they play.
The two dogs, together with their owner, decided to go on a walk one day. Along the way, they come upon a river. Not wanting to waste the beautiful day outside, their owner decides to play a game of fetch with Chester and Troy.
Their owner grabs a stick and throws it into the water. Chester and Troy then race to fetch the stick. Unfortunately for Troy, Chester always gets to the stick first. A few more throws later and Chester is still winning.
Troy has had enough of losing and so he decides he doesn’t want to play anymore. But because of their bond of friendship, Chester does something adorably priceless in front of the camera. He grabs the stick first but since he didn’t want his buddy to be left out, he drops the stick back in the water and waits for Troy to grab it.
Chester purposefully let his best friend win the game! And it’s the most adorable thing you’ll ever see, especially coming from a dog. Don’t believe us? Check out the video below and watch how the clever pup let his friend win their game of fetch.
